Shortly after my husband and I married in 2003, my husband lost his job of 7 years and everything has been a downward spiral ever since. My daughter was born shortly after we married and it changed our lives. We acquired a home and my husband thought it would be a good idea to invest his savings in investment properties. We obtained one rental property which we would up moving in after we lost our first house. My husband finally found a job in 2005 and we spent the extra playing catch up on bills we fell behind on not to mention the fact that when he started working we had to spend an extra 400.00 / month for daycare which put a serious dent in our pocket. Needless to say, we wound up losing the other home as well and now we are in an apartment spending all of our income on trying to play catch up. It seems as if we are never going to catch up. We have robbed Peter to pay Paul for so long that now Paul is tapped out. I have a car in my mom's name that I am 3 months behind on and waiting to go outside one day and see it gone. We are behind one month on the rent and daycare is behind. Oh, I am sorry I forgot to mention the main contributor to our problems are payday loan. Neither one of us smoke, drink, or gamble. Although I have been spending an occassional $5 on mega million ticket in hopes that I might be lucky enough to really win millions and all of my problems will be solved. I need someone to take a chance and help me out or refer me to someone who can help me. I have a meeting with my credit union committee to try to convince them to give me and my huband a loan to help us get out of this mess we are in. I have started work with a debt consolidation agency in hopes that they will help us work out a budget that will get us out of this mess. Please help or pray for us that we won;t lose our car.
